Action Reconciliation Service for Peace offers individuals aged 18 and above the possibility to do a twelve month voluntary service in Germany. Volunteer placements are offered at Holocaust memorial sites and non-profits promoting understanding and tolerance, rememberance of the past, and taking a stand against antisemitism, racism, and discrimination. The program is open to all North Americans who meet the age requirement.

Each summer, Action Reconciliation Service for Peace offers a number of short summer camps throughout Germany and Europe. These summer camps bring together volunteers from around the world to do hands-on work in joint projects at memorial sites, within Jewish communities, or in initiatives for people with disabilities. Volunteers don't need to bring any special skills with them, just a willingness to work together. The practical work of each summer camp is embedded in a contextual program of excursions, conversations with survivors, workshops, and group discussions.
